A Year in Review: uRISQ – Elevating Privacy and Security Program Management

Robust Feature Enhancements
Throughout 2024, uRISQ introduced several feature upgrades aimed at streamlining the user experience and deploying automation tools and artificial intelligence to enhance our partners; and their customers’ overall benefits. Enhanced dashboards provide real-time insights into privacy compliance, while AI-driven solutions have helped organizations identify and mitigate risks more effectively. In 2024, uRISQ was continually enhanced with over 17 releases in a 12-month period.
New development and releases included:
- The Launch of our AUTOBoarding Tool and CSR Sales Support. AUTOBoarding replaced a historically manual process that was onerous on our partners. Our goal was to provide a solution where our partners were able to effectively and easily communicate with their customers on the benefits of uRISQ and a privacy and security program. In addition to automating their efforts, CSR built an internal team to support our partners’ customers, again taking the burden off our partners so they can focus on their business operations.
- Redesign of some of our modules such as Breach Support, Vendor Management, and the User Management and Account sections. The redesign of these sections was focused on providing end users with a more streamlined user experience as well as enhance benefits so end users can mitigate their risks of data loss or security incident.
- Launch of an AI-driven identity validation feature to facilitate the verification of identity of a data subject within our Access Request module.
- Release of 2 new policies in our Policy Center and 2 new training videos in our Training module reinforces that the users of uRISQ continue to get relevant and up to date information as it pertains to the ever-changing subject of privacy and security. As regulations are passed and enforced, the uRISQ system supports the management of these changes, helping end user companies mitigate their risk of data loss but also comply with law as the regulatory situation change.

The uRISQ user community expanded significantly in 2024, welcoming organizations from various sectors and countries.
